Review on 🎧 BATIGE 3.5mm Male to 6.35mm Female Audio Cable Adapter - 1/8 Male to 1/4 Female Stereo Jack - 3ft Wire Cord by Matthew Rodenbaugh

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Three (3) month warranty

Here is my rating of durability. I purchased a 10ft 3.5mm (male) to 6.35mm (female) extension cord adapter back in August 2019. Out of the box it looked fine and worked without any issues. Last month, April 2020, I noticed that I am losing audio on the right channel when I bump into the male end of the 3.5mm cable. I've seen that the plastic core that the 3.5mm plug comes out of can wobble a little under the metal shell, causing me to lose audio on the right channel. You can unscrew the metal coating to see the entire plastic core to see that it's quite soft, so the metal coating is a reinforcement of the structure. Interestingly, I rarely disconnect this end of the cable. Maybe once a month. The cord rotates 180 about 1 inch after the tension is released and is held in place by cord clamps under the table so the end of the connector shouldn't be heavily stressed, but it is now delicate. I contacted BATIGE and asked about the warranty period as it is not mentioned. on the product page and they said it was three months. Nothing more to say except that the warranty has expired. I guess I'll just cut off the end and put in a better connector. It's cheap, worked great before there were problems with the 3.5mm connector end, but the durability just couldn't match, even if it rarely failed.
