I bought this camera mainly because of the HS function. The HS function is said to take fairly good pictures in low light conditions without a flash, although this doesn't seem to be very accurate. I tried many places with low light and the picture looked pretty bad. In my experience the HS function needs a good amount of light to work properly. Other camera features like miniature and fisheye effects are pretty good. However, if your camera is switched to automatic mode, you won't be able to use any of these fun features. Otherwise your video will be really dark and indistinguishable. As for the look of the camera itself, despite being advertised as pink, it's more of a pinkish-purple color.
