Received it Thursday and tried it out in the garage on Saturday. I took the BACK of the retractable utility knife. I was pleasantly surprised at how much glitter is ejected. Many sparks fell on the ground and continue to spark (burn). I'm used to those little magnesium blocks with little sparks on the side. Big difference. With this I will light a fire in the north on my next trip. The only downside is that it would be nice to have a little handle on the end. I'm going to make one out of a small piece of wood. They sell the same sizes with grips at gun shows for about $39. Adding firewood for 50 cents is much more profitable.
