Review on ViewSonic VX2025WM 20-Inch Widescreen Monitor with 1680x1050 Resolution and Wide Screen - VX2025Wm by Rick Aldridge

This is my first LCD monitor (finally!) to replace a rather massive 20 inch CRT dinosaur. Immediately after the adjustment, I had to lower the contrast and brightness. I bought a widescreen to do CAD drawings. It shows them perfectly with plenty of extra space to show all the other information. I noticed that it took me a while to get used to the fact that since I'm wearing progressive lenses the image on the screen tends to give the illusion of a slight "bow tie" look (perhaps due to the wider aspect ratio, which I'm not used to). However, this quickly disappeared after a few hours of use. Overall I couldn't be happier.
