This product does not absorb urine, allowing you to collect a urine sample for analysis. I've used it on 2 separate occasions with varying degrees of success. Was the lack of success due to its texture? Draft? My cats DO NOT want to use the litter box it comes with. I went so far as to lock them in a room with him for over 12 hours only to have them refuse to go in the box. As soon as they come out, they immediately run to their usual tray, leaving behind a huge liquid sediment. The only success I had was that it was very easy to collect the sample. Wouldn't it be great if it was a texture? can be modified to be more cat-friendly.
