My kids' school changed their school dress code from the ubiquitous blue pants to an expensive gray flannel only available at a local school uniform store (can you say "MONOPOLY"?). They reportedly did it in the name of looks and quality, disregarding the fact that keeping guys in good pants no matter how you cut them is expensive, and quality isn't that important considering how fast these go children grow up. Sure, I don't mind paying for quality that lasts a decade, but for teens? They won't fit in these pants in 10 months, let alone 10 years! So why go for a "high quality" Pay for nice-looking uniform trousers that are handed out once and then sent to the charity's closet? So I looked for a cheaper alternative and found this one. They hold up well to a weekly wash and I hope they hold up in the hands of a little brother too.
