I bought this for my desk where I sit and play many hours a day. I was starting to worry that my bent wrists might cause carpal tunnel so I ordered this to see if I could prevent future problems. I am very happy with this purchase! The price is great and the product is great. It's just soft as shown in the picture. It's a kind of memory foam, which is very comfortable and fun to play between games :) It comes with a keyboard stand and a mouse stand. I only use the keyboard because the one on the wrist of the mouse prevents me from aiming in FPS games. I spilled coffee on the keyboard stand, it's very easy to clean and doesn't leave stains. I ordered mine in pink to match my set and was very happy with the shade of pink!
