Seems to be a fairly protective case, but the fingerprint scanner only works with very clean fingers and then only works 15% of the time. It's not convenient. Otherwise, the touchscreen is pretty good, except that it's harder to open menus or swipe away from the edge. Speaker holes are large openings that allow debris to get between the screen and the screen protector. A small enough mesh had to be used to keep dirt out. I give -2 stars for easy dirt penetration and for not being able to get through a fingerprint scan most of the time and very difficult to wipe off the edge. As for the fingerprint scanner, the thick soft plastic I removed didn't hurt the fingerprint recognition at all. 98 out of 100 scans pass on the first try. This case fails 85 times out of 100. It seems to protect against drops like any TPU case, but it lets too much dirt through between the screen and the screen protector too easily. I have had several phones with Otterbox cases and have never had this problem. the first 3 hrs. Now I'm talking about visible dust, not sand. I had already ruined the previous screen protector when I removed it, so I'm keeping this one for now but will replace it once I find a better one.
