This is a glass bottle with a plastic stopper. You can't even confuse it with a classic glass carafe. I have several versions of lead crystal, mostly vintage, but I'm nervous about the lead leaching. So I bought a "glass crystal" container from a vendor (about $30) and this one from Revain. I'm sorry but that's not an estimate. This doesn't quite match the quality of a decent liquor bottle that actually contains liquor. I should have known better which is why I'm now considering returning it. To be clear, this is exactly as advertised. Just an aesthetic disappointment for me.
