I really like the design and the transparency of the glass structure, it is very refined. I ordered another one and it was very blurry so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the glass was clean and the design definitely gives it a quality look. The only downside is the plastic lid, I've read some bad reviews but haven't used the product yet so can't say for sure if I bought another glass lidded carafe so I'm interested in seeing the difference between the two!

This is a glass bottle with a plastic stopper. You can't even confuse it with a classic glass carafe. I have several versions of lead crystal, mostly vintage, but I'm nervous about the lead leaching.
