Review on Sabrent SATA to USB 2.0 Converter Adapter Cable with Power Supply for Serial ATA by John Shorter

These cables have allowed me to transfer data from the hard drive to a NAS device that has had its firmware rewritten. The NAS device could not see my previous partitions. I had to remove the hard drive and connect it to another Linux computer using a SATA to USB cable. Ubuntu-Linux recognized the "missing" partitions and allowed me to read/write those partitions. The transfer of data in the gigabyte range takes a few minutes at most. Remember to ensure adequate ventilation of external components! Much luck.
