What a huge upgrade from my factory settings! The old units were just over 6 years old and I took a cold shower from my 50 gallon tank and was the 2nd person to shower. We have strange water coming from a city-controlled well. Pretty tough and we're not softening. The real difference, however, lies in the quality of the heating elements and the amount of water that each one comes into contact with when heating. In the photo a comparison of factory heating elements and this one. I'm sure they will last longer and hot water will flow faster. If they last at least 5 years I will buy again.
