Let me start by saying that this was a great toy concept for any kid who loves baby sharks and all those pink phong cartoons. We gave it to our daughter for her first birthday. Yes, a one-year-old can be rude with toys, but all she did was drag them down the hall and push buttons. She loved this toy. Less than 1 month after purchase (after the return date of course). The power button started failing. Didn't do anything but say "Hello!" except it was more like an eternity of "damn, damn, damn, damn, damn" so my husband took the batteries out, that was the only way to make him stop, and tore it up. The button seems fine. We reassembled it and the problem remains. The child was heartbroken and upset about this. We considered buying another one but they were out of stock and after reading more reviews we weren't the only ones having this issue. Such a shame. It was an amazing toy. We are beyond disappointed as this was one of the coolest educational toys we found for our little shark fan. I really hope they improve quality control and then it will be one of the best toys.
