This is a really good tablet stand, I use a 10.1 inch tablet with it and it fits great . It won't fit in a holder with a case unless it was obvious. My only criticism is that I would have liked it to be a little shorter. I use it to keep my tablet in my living room when I want to listen to music or get some chores done while I work. it also works very well next to the bed if you want to watch netflix at night and don't have a tv in your room yet. One thing I would like to point out is that it is good to read the instructions as the two flat bars at the bottom are not the same, one has a steeper incline and should go up. I screwed it up the first time I put it together and had to take it apart because it was incredibly wobbly, but it's on me.
