My kids love it! ...they memorized all the features in a few days. The green screen is great too good. It had great success for several days. Especially the dinosaur chasing scene. But I will say that the green screen effect has passed a bit sooner than I expected. They haven't played with different background scenes for over a week, but games since day one. But kids ebb and flow, I'm sure they will come back to this in the future. But right now my daughter is having a lot of fun making her own videos. She always enjoys watching her videos The battery life is pretty good and it charges fairly quickly. However, the storage isn't huge. There are a lot of extra SD cards around the house, so this wasn't a problem for us. But just know that you most likely have a different one want to take. I also think the picture quality is very good. We have a blue Vtech camera that is about 6 years old and the updated technology has gotten much better. I think the only negative thing I can say about it is that I wish the green screen was a little bigger. Things get tight when two kids try to fit on the screen. And I have a love-hate relationship with the download option. I have to manually connect it to my computer with a USB cable to upload it to the web. On the one hand, it seems "old school" and time-consuming. But on the other hand, I can at least monitor and restrict what my kids want to upload to their (closed and private) YouTube channel. If it were up to my daughter, upload two dozen videos a day! In any case, I cannot recommend this toy camcorder highly enough. I'm sure any kid who has shown an interest in making their own YouTube videos will love it! It's really that great. Thank you Vtech!
