Does not work with Varia 515 taillight

This light does not work with Varia 515 Light taillight. The network is down. I've searched the internet for other devices that had this problem and I've done all sorts of crazy things to get two devices (UT800 and Varia515) to pair into a network. Not worth the headache as a semi-finished product. Doesn't Garmin test their products under multiple products with collaborators etc.? I use Light with Edge 830 and have also tried Edge 530. Same problems.

High intensity bike light for urban and off-road use, visible over 1 mile in daylight
