The purchase did not justify itself at all.

Service life of more than a year. Operated from -20 to +38 degrees Celsius. Garmin Forerunner 45 watch was purchased on 11/09/2022 at the official Garmin MEGA Belaya Dacha store. A few days ago, the fastening of the strap on the case broke off when I took off my T-shirt after a workout. Everything is fine with the T-shirt, but Garmin did not survive this (see photo). The strap has not been removed since purchase. As you can see in the photo, repair = replacement of the case on which the bar…

    Pros
    • - Convenient interface. All actions are easy to perform with buttons, no touch screen is needed. - Compact size, good design. Suitable for everyday wear with both office and casual wear. - Automatic synchronization with the Garmin Connect app and with Strava. - Ability to connect additional third-party Ant+ sensors. For example, the budget Magene chest heart rate monitor for 1400. from a popular Chinese store connected easily and works great.
    Cons
    • - Small battery capacity. Good for 1-2 hour workouts. Summer trail 35km for 4 hours dropped the battery almost completely. The batteries lasted for 3 hours for night winter orientation. With constant wear and light training every other day, the battery lasts for 4-5 days. - Screen brightness is not enough in very sunny weather. - If worn continuously, the strap may irritate the skin. - No "Skiing" workout. - Structural miscalculation in the fastening of the strap. More details below.

In short, here is the summary: Garmin 45 is a high-quality, reliable watch for sports with reduced functionality, an excellent hub for receiving messages. I would rate them 4.5. And now a little more. I must say right away that this is not my first Garmin watch. In 2022, I was presented with a Forerunner 235. And I largely evaluate my feelings in comparison with those watches. I did not think that in watches such things as ergonomics and reliability of use could become key. I have not seen…

    Pros
    • - Soft strap, ergonomic fit on the wrist - Screen size is optimal - Fast and reliable communication with the phone - Fast charging (less than an hour like) - Pleasant sensual vibrations - that's what you need - Appeared standard timer and stopwatch - Design - Workmanship and stability
    Cons
    • - Alarm clock doesn't actually work (see comment) - Not enough recognizable sports - there are 5 of them, but you can add - The running characteristics on the screen are not very conveniently arranged during the lesson, you have to press the buttons once again - Many dials from the Garmin store look somewhat clumsy when installed in the watch, and 2022 text sometimes climbs out of the watch outline (see photo) - Too bad no NFC

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

Of course, the watch is designed for running in addition to being smart, so jogging is wonderful and should be encouraged. The following are some of the advantages of the product: + Beautiful software for both mobile devices and personal computers + A variety of graphs and measures that are extremely interesting to view + Excellent GPS and heart rate monitor that provide fairly precise measurements of workouts + Crafted to a high standard - there are no squeaks or blowback + Even with training,

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

After various fitness bracelets and inexpensive Chinese sports watches, I am delighted with the Garmin Forerunner 45 almost all - they screwed me with the pool) as luck would have it, immediately after my purchase, The watch worked autonomously, A couple of tweets on the official twitter, somehow managed, watch my video review

    Pros
    • The watch is good both in appearance - it looks stylish and rich, Perfectly count tracks, send (if necessary) activity to Strava, rate, number of steps and other health indicators), it is convenient that you can see the weather and control the music player without taking your phone out of your pocket.
    Cons
    • A very limited list of activities - running, walking, treadmill, biking, Not only can you not record a swim in the pool, in the application, After starting a workout, really bother me - just the right distance to gather my courage before the start of the race, In America, these watches are much cheaper.

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

I'm still getting acclimated to the watch because it's designed for running rather than just being smart. The rest is incredibly content. Running is said to be great, and I now run without a smartphone. I hope they have a happy ending. Some advantages include: + Beautiful software for phones and computers with a variety of graphs and measurements that are fascinating to view + Excellent GPS and heart rate monitors that correctly record exercises + Made with quality materials; nothing creaks or…

A reliable product for all occasions, the quality is at the level.

Got pros: 1. Appearance; 2. Easy to carry and manage; 3. Transflective Always On display; 4. Accurate GPS receiver. With its cons. 1. Periodically reboot when switching widgets (weather / steps / notifications / pulse); 2. The previously configured order of widgets constantly flies; 3. Occasionally lose connection with the iPhone.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expectations were not met, average quality.

With its pros. A lot of advantages for jogging lovers (all of them are indicated in the characteristics of the watch). On straight open roads, gps works well. But these watches have no advantages for people who are seriously involved in sports. Only a stopwatch has advantages at a marked distance (for example, at a stadium). Has cons: Lies gps at distances with turns (cuts off), the current pace jumps to + - 1 min, it is impossible to understand what the pace is in reality. With everyday runnin

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

I was pleased that you do not need to tighten the bracelet too much to read the heart rate; the watch in any position fits quite snugly to the hand, and when experimenting with varying degrees of tightening of the bracelet, there was no difference in the readings. I did not use it under extreme conditions, but under normal conditions, the readings are very similar to the truth. The stress meter seems to respond primarily to the degree of physical fatigue, as I personally had maximum stress…

    Pros
    • Inexpensive Good heart rate detection Perfectly synchronized with the phone Sleep monitoring, VO max, training plan.
    Cons
    • Well, if you're nitpicking: Not very strong battery No NFC

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Great workout motivator! I have been using it since January 2022, the impressions are as follows: - everything you need for running - everything is in this watch - The pulse (as on all similar devices) measures approximately. if you need accuracy - buy a chest heart rate monitor! (by the way, it can be connected in this watch) - everything is thought out, both the menu and the use. You run and wanted to see how much you ran - you turned your hand, the display lit up (conveniently), you run…

    Pros
    • - appearance - a bunch of different dials - convenience of training, widgets - not "touch" screen - price/quality ratio - synchronization with computer/phone - operating time from one charge - notifications from the phone (everything works clearly) - case and strap material
    Cons
    • - a couple of times when changing the dial, the settings spontaneously changed from metric to American. noticed by the 12-hour format on the watch and by the length of the distance (the watch began to measure the distance in miles). not fatal but annoying. I had to dig into the settings and change - not suitable for people who want a watch with a touch screen or with "beautiful" fonts

I took this watch as a running tracker from the "economy" segment and, at first glance, the bracelet met all the requirements. But from the first training, something strange began. During seemingly easy runs for medium distances (5-10 km), the pulse consistently exceeded 180 and stayed that way for an hour, which looks rather strange, especially in light of the fact that during the entire workout I could calmly carry on a dialogue, that is, he kept the so-called conversational pace, which does…

    Pros
    • Wear comfort Suitable for long workouts Works well as a hub for notifications Charging speed
    Cons
    • GPS accuracy Overall battery capacity How the heart rate sensor works when the heart rate is high Difficult to control the amount of memory

    Not purple. Blue.

I have bought 6 Garmin fitness trackers/watches in the last 5 years and they have all worked well and never had any major problems. (Except that the Fenix 5 doesn't measure heart rate during activities, but I believe that's due to its weight making it difficult for the watch to stay in place). The 45S that I bought for my wife is no exception. My only complaint is that the packaging and picture of Revain shows the product to be purple, just like the name. But the product itself is blue. So I'm…

Not worth the money!: GPS, viewfinder and accessories

Love it when it's plugged in but it needs constant re-syncing and now it's having trouble pairing at all :(. Not very happy with this one Purchase based on money spent .Update 7/24 - not re-paired?! Was this so unreliable that I've been tracking other apps because I never know when they'll break.Regarding this I've asked for a refund after turning off the clock etc . It's not worth it!

    Terrible customer service

Bought for a good running watch. The software was immediately outdated and would not connect to my phone. I had to use Garmin Express to update the watch software. Garmin Express was not working and I contacted Garmin Support for help. The support engineer went through everything and still couldn't figure it out and said it was my internet. So I contacted my local ISP and they said they don't block websites so it's not a problem with my internet. I reported this to Garmin and they said they…

    simple, cute, precise

I have a diameter of 39 mm. I'm a woman with a small wrist, so I think smaller is better (pictured). The font size on the screen is large enough to scroll through while running. The color wasn't quite purple, but still very pretty! As for features, it was easy to figure out. Make sure to download the Garmin app to keep your watch and phone in sync. When you finish your run or walk, save your data and go to the Garmin app on your phone. You can see all your data. If you want to download…

    Great GPS running watch

I bought this watch mainly to track my runs with Strava. Appearance excellent (all black). The diameter is perfect for my average male wrist and the height is thinner than the old clunky Garmins. I like that the watch face is always on but off (which is clearly visible), with the ability to press a button to boost the backlight. The GPS usually takes a few minutes to log in, but then recording a workout is very easy; Start/stop, laps, save, etc. are intuitive and easy. I downloaded the Garmin…

Garmin customer support is best in class (Ravain level)

I pre-ordered a Garmin Foreunner 45s in white. Before I get into the specifics of the watch itself (I've had the 35, 235 and some Vivo watches and smaller for years) I would first like to thank Garmin customer service and give them an A+ rating. If I had problems with the watch for years, the watch was always replaced if they couldn't fix it. For complex technical issues, Garmin always has a tech representative (like Eric) who can answer the tough question and help you along the way, e.g. GPS…

Great GPS running watch for the price!

I am very happy with this purchase. As a casual runner, I chose the Forerunner 45S because I need a GPS watch with buttons instead of a touchscreen and very limited smart notifications (I don't need a full smartwatch). Here are a few pros and cons that stand out. Pros: + Great for tracking runs (treadmill and outdoors), walks, and ellipticals + Buttons are easy to navigate (much better than the Forerunner 25S I upgraded from!) + Great HR zone data after each workout + Highly customizable and…

    Finally a smaller predecessor!

Update July 18: I started wearing 45's to sleep. That really shows REM. He does not offer an impulse bull. 45s works great with my Scosche Rhythm+ heart rate monitor. As usual with wrist heart rate monitors, I have to lift 45 kilograms higher on my arm and put some strain on them during the workout when swinging my arms. It's easier for me to use Rhythm+ during class because I already have it. The 2.60 firmware update did not fix the notification issue I reported in my original review, but…
