Review on Garmin Forerunner 45: Easy-to-Use GPS Running Watch with Free Training Plan Support in Red by Yuan Ming ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Great workout motivator! I have been using it since January 2022, the impressions are as follows: - everything you need for running - everything is in this watch - The pulse (as on all similar devices) measures approximately. if you need accuracy - buy a chest heart rate monitor! (by the way, it can be connected in this watch) - everything is thought out, both the menu and the use. You run and wanted to see how much you ran - you turned your hand, the display lit up (conveniently), you run further - the display went out. This feature only works in training mode. - power reserve, 5 days works clearly without recharging. If the training is long (40-50 minutes), then 4 days. But it's still impressive (compared to iwatch) - the interface of the program is perfect (no matter ios or android). A full-fledged web version (who doesn't feel comfortable messing around with a mobile app) - compared this model with fenix6. I bought this one because I think that for me personally all the functions are enough and fenix is "brute force" - the materials are comfortable and not easily soiled, the strap stretches a little when dressing (such as an elastic band), but it is comfortable. especially when, when the season changes, you sometimes want the watch to hold tighter to your hand in winter and, on the contrary, a little looser in summer

Pros
  • - appearance - a bunch of different dials - convenience of training, widgets - not "touch" screen - price/quality ratio - synchronization with computer/phone - operating time from one charge - notifications from the phone (everything works clearly) - case and strap material
Cons
  • - a couple of times when changing the dial, the settings spontaneously changed from metric to American. noticed by the 12-hour format on the watch and by the length of the distance (the watch began to measure the distance in miles). not fatal but annoying. I had to dig into the settings and change - not suitable for people who want a watch with a touch screen or with "beautiful" fonts
