Review on Garmin Forerunner 45: Easy-to-Use GPS Running Watch with Free Training Plan Support in Red by Korakod Khun-avut ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I³'m satisfied with the product, it³'s well made and the price is also satisfying.

In short, here is the summary: Garmin 45 is a high-quality, reliable watch for sports with reduced functionality, an excellent hub for receiving messages. I would rate them 4.5. And now a little more. I must say right away that this is not my first Garmin watch. In 2022, I was presented with a Forerunner 235. And I largely evaluate my feelings in comparison with those watches. I did not think that in watches such things as ergonomics and reliability of use could become key. I have not seen any complaints about discomfort from socks anywhere in the Forerunner 235 reviews. Pay attention to the picture how the sensor protrudes forward at 235 and how 45. Previously, this cone pressed unrealistically on the hand (for the first 3 weeks, the bone under the sensor constantly hurt). If you almost never take off your watch, then this is very important. In model 45, the sensor does not dig into the hand. The strap was good before, but now it's even better. Barely stiffer, made of solid rubber, and the hand sweats less. In the comments, people write about contactless charging. Yes, it would be better with her. But then you can connect the watch with the computer only through the phone. Returning to 235, it is worth noting that just a bunch of times when the watch was connected to the charging cable or to the computer, there were freezes, system resets. - (This is hell.) - Due to the micro-movement of the clip from charging with the watch, a super-short disconnect could occur at the point of contact. And the clock immediately hung. On the 45th they changed the cable. Now this is a clear posting, not a clip. - It has become as reliable as possible. Also, now the bluetooth connection "watch-phone" does not fall off when you leave the phone. No need to restart your watch and phone. And dance with a tambourine. Those. returning from training, before you could not save the workout. class, right? Now the connection with the phone is instantly restored. Messages are transmitted to the watch in 2 seconds. With the Garmin chest sensor, they also work properly. And this stability of work, the absence of problems out of the blue, convenience is what I would recommend this watch for.

Pros
  • - Soft strap, ergonomic fit on the wrist - Screen size is optimal - Fast and reliable communication with the phone - Fast charging (less than an hour like) - Pleasant sensual vibrations - that's what you need - Appeared standard timer and stopwatch - Design - Workmanship and stability
Cons
  • - Alarm clock doesn't actually work (see comment) - Not enough recognizable sports - there are 5 of them, but you can add - The running characteristics on the screen are not very conveniently arranged during the lesson, you have to press the buttons once again - Many dials from the Garmin store look somewhat clumsy when installed in the watch, and 2022 text sometimes climbs out of the watch outline (see photo) - Too bad no NFC
