Review on 🐾 Optimized SturdiBag Large Height-Adjustable Pet Carrier by Josue Porter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes that's it!

I was very apprehensive about traveling with my French bulldog (around 20 pounds). Please note this was my first time traveling with my dog - this review is based on that level of experience. Just thought I'd be completely honest - some of these reviews really helped me - if you're considering this bag, be sure to read a few of them. First let me say they don't call this Sturdibug for nothing! I put my dog on top of the suitcase, he fell (my fault) and my Frenchie was still resting! The vents made it easy for me to see and keep it cool - wish there were more but I get it - solid construction blah blah. I like the fact that the stabilization pad is under the bag - I don't know if it's a "thing" but it was useful. The instructions weren't the best, but these reviews got me through the steps. The stabilizing pins at the top of the bag went in easily but found their way out about an inch on 2 of them after a 4 hour ride. Eh I'll try pulling them out again and see what happens (yes I followed the instructions, it still worked). I'm not a big fan of velcro - they don't hold the small vents very well and after a few hours the bag looks a little disheveled, with all the flaps flapping in the wind - and what's a long bag? Velcro to keep window 10% of length? We have to cut these things out. The next version will definitely need stronger velcro or real straps/clips to hold the vents in place. Typically a bag will fit under a seat on trains and planes. Remember to lower the top bars down a little before you start sliding (some coordination required) to get a good fit. You definitely don't want to waste time trying to find your pet - make sure the shore is clear - your butt will be in the air for a minute to get it right. lol Anyhoo - I am happy with the bag so far my dear boy is safe and I would recommend this bag to others.
