I recently bought a full size home theater projector. I used to have a mini projector with a special tripod screw, which came in handy. When I unpacked my new projector, I found that there were no special screws. So I started looking for tripod mounting options. First I found a few records that weren't worth the money. Then I had the idea of buying a projector ceiling mount and using it with a tripod after a few conversions. To be honest there was only 1 modification: 1 bolt and 1 nut. I unscrew a mount and attach it to a tripod with a shaped hole. It turned out to be half the price of a tripod. Good thing I can still use it as a ceiling mount. For the price you get 2 devices: a tripod and a ceiling mount. Definitely recommend
