It was messed up straight out of the box with step 1 (taking the cover off the battery area). The tiny screw holding the cover on was somehow stripped and my husband carefully pried the cover off, and came to realize the the screw was stuck inside the bolt that was supposed to be physically inside the plastic of the swing. There was no way to separate them without the bolt being pulled out and now the cover will not stay on or stay flush because the screw won't work sufficiently without the bolt inside the plastic.Some of the metal parts fitting together was a joke too, but he eventually forced them together.So far, without our baby being here and using this song, it seems like a typical cheap buy from China.We'll see how it holds up after our daughter arrives, and if it's a life saver I'll gladly update my review to reflect that.However, it is visually cute!
