Review on ⚡ Electric Aluminum Extension Adapter Attachment by Greg Greiner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great design but poorly made.

The size and ergonomics are great - just what I was looking for. The quality is mediocre. If you hand twist one of the ends, there will be a serious rough spot. I'm a big guy and it's hard for me to turn my head when you're in such a difficult position. This will likely smooth out over time, but should have been fixed at the factory. The bearings are open and unsealed at each end of the handle, making it easy for dirt to get into the bearings during use, causing premature and unnecessary wear. The unbranded pickup doesn't oscillate, so alignment is good and the pickup looks reasonably well made. There are no instructions, so you'll need to lubricate the exposed bearings as best you can. It looks like there's an oil hole with something like a Schrader valve in place of the handle, but it doesn't squeeze. I will try to pressure lube this hole and update this review. I'd happily pay five times as much for a quality tool with sealed bearings and a smooth action, but I haven't found anything on the market that plugs into an electric drill.
