All in all everything I could ask for in this price range

I saw a lot of negative reviews and was very nervous about taking this one. First, the instructions were very simple. I don't know if anyone has assembled something without words, but if you follow very simple pictures labeled with the correct screws (A, B, C, etc.) you should be fine. It seems many reviewers don't fall into this category. Second, I was also afraid of not being able to put my desk against the wall. It used to be right up against the wall, but now there's about 3 inches of space between the wall and my desk. In my case this is not a problem. I also saw someone complain about the height. I don't know how tall you are, beanstalk, but your arms can go pretty high - even higher than the adjustable stand on my AOC 24G2. You just have to adjust the tension in your hand. The guide will show you how to raise and lower the mount. I also see people complaining that the mount can't hold their monitors. I had an issue lowering my monitor, but I fixed it by tightening the left screw in the adjustment hinge closest to the monitor. As a side note, I think some people might be confused by the weight of their monitor. Sellers often list the weight of the entire product, including the box, stand, etc. Your 24-inch or 27-inch monitor most likely won't weigh 10 pounds, let alone 14 pounds if you're unsure about these mounts for your can hold the monitor. People who have problems with the arm that supports the monitor are probably not tightening the screws enough. It's sturdy, easy to assemble (I put it together without help) and has all the range of motion it claims. The only thing I don't like is that you have to unscrew and unscrew the cable management compartments. For that reason I ended up not using it. The only real issue I had with assembly was that the thumbscrew used to attach the monitor to the bracket was too thick due to the cut out on the back of my monitor so I ended up using the other screws that came with it (I don't think so for that are they intended). Still works and I can still take it apart easily. Otherwise, it was pretty much everything I could want from a monitor arm in this price range.
