Probably good for other uses, but only good for seasoning
The lids are not very easy to remove so using them for condiments when cooking can be awkward. I love that they have a wide spice spout (I have a hard time getting scoops into the containers they come in) and I can store them compactly. I just wish the lids weren't so difficult to remove.
