This is the best baby camera I can find

I've tried almost every high quality baby camera and this is the best camera in terms of overall features, video quality and ease of use. It's solid and doesn't feel like cheap plastic or poor quality like I've found with many other cameras in this category. I wanted an HD camera that I could view on my iPhone or computer and didn't need an internet connection. This camera gives you the ability to connect to your regular Wi-Fi signal and view it securely from anywhere over the internet. Another option is to connect directly to the camera using the WiFi signal coming from the camera itself, so the internet is not used. You simply press the button on the back of the camera and then on your phone select the Wi-Fi signal that the camera is broadcasting and it will automatically connect directly. This feature is important when you're on the go, as you might not have an internet signal to connect to. We've used it on three trips now and it works perfectly every time. We had a baby who slept upstairs and could be by the pool and watch him all the time. So the range through many walls was very impressive. The camera also has a completely silent pan/tilt function, which comes in handy when the child is moving or to set the right angle for the best view. In addition, it transmits information about the room temperature. I was also very impressed with the quality of the speakers on the camera. It also has a little clock on the screen you're looking at. So when you see the seconds tick by, you know the screen isn't freezing and you're getting real-time (no lag) video. Finally, it has the ability to turn off the LED backlight that most electronic devices have these days. I hate LEDs that turn on at night when I'm trying to sleep so being able to turn them off is awesome. The camera has an SD slot for video recording, which I haven't tried yet, and it's also very easy to take photos or videos on iPad and iPhone. I haven't tried the PC interface as I always check on my iPad or iPhone. My other camera is a DropCam Pro that I have installed throughout the house. However, the Drop Cam isn't portable (most importantly, no directional connectivity), has no pan/tilt, no temp, and the speaker/mic doesn't seem as good. After two years of studying kids cameras, D-Link was the best I found - no question about it.
