I just recently spent 84,000 HKD on it in Hong Kong. We put it through its paces on a Canon EOS 7D and a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM. The contrast astonished me. 1) The tack-sharpness of the eyes drew my attention; all five photos were perfectly captured. 2) Other color and contrast representations Thirdly, yes; in practice, I preferred it over its predecessor. Having a sharp mind is a breeze. This is the greatest benefit, and I feel it is best communicated in the expressions. For me, though, the combination of 85 mm and f/1.2 is unbeatable; I frequently shoot at that focal length, and it remains a firm favorite. I adore 85-ku from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. but no where without a wide-angle lens
