Review on Ultimate Comfort and Style: Alpine Swiss Sandals for Athletic Outdoor Activities by Joshua Flake

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits as expected, thick straps, comfortable basic sandals.

With summer approaching, I needed a new pair of sandals. I don't like spending big bucks on sandals as I've learned over 45 years that they either wear out on their own and fall apart (dispose of in front of your eyes) even from minimal use to no use, or the midsole and outsole harden out with time. becomes very heavy on the lower back and knees. Yes, that goes for both expensive and really expensive sandals. Ordered a size 10 and they fit as expected with no issues. The toe box is roomy, but of course it can be as roomy as you want with the adjustable strap, heck, you can dangle your pinky down the sides if you like. The sandals stick out an average of 1 inch in front which is great so you don't hurt your toes. There is almost no vault support, which is great for me. I love the lack of arch support and usually do almost everything barefoot (I work from home). When I go out I wear shoes with low arch support. Overall I have found them to be very beneficial and meet my needs and allow me to tend my garden and run errands in the hot summer sun with ease. The adaptability allows me to wear the socks when needed, which also ensures breathability. There are still no slipping problems, the sole holds up well. The straps are nice, comfortable, lined with neoprene and don't irritate my skin all day wearing them indoors for winter testing. All stitched materials and tailoring are in good condition. There are no problems with breakdowns and manufacturing defects.
