Oculus Rift comes with an HDMI cable that plugs into the back of your graphics card. The problem is that I have a Samsung 4K QLED TV that I used as my primary monitor and it requires an HDMI port on the back of my EVGA 1080 Ti graphics card. Oculus was supposed to have a DP (Display Port) connector, but it didn't. And that's where this little fool comes in. It allows you to plug any HDMI cable into an adapter and then plug it into a Displayport (which all graphics cards from 2014 and up have). This version from Cable Matters is the real deal, supporting true 4K resolution at 60Hz, which many other adapters claim to support but don't actually do. So I was a little mad at Oculus for not thinking ahead, but I'm glad I finally found this adapter from Cable Matters. Now the crack is working and I can enjoy a lot of porn in 3D virtual reality. okay, i'm joking.
