I'm tired of cheap belts that last about a year and then fall apart - before that they look ripped. This belt should last much longer. It appears to be a single piece of thick skin. It has a very strong leather smell which I like. Its metal clip looks weathered. Because it's also wide, the belt goes best with jeans. Sure, you could wear it with a suit, but I find it a bit bulky for a dress. My waist is 32-33. Manufacturer recommends 2 inches above waist measurement. So I ordered 36. It's ok, but I could probably pick 34. I think it's better to leave room for expansion.
