Review on πŸ“š 12x12 Metallic Cardstock Stack by Diecuts with a View by Kristen Simpson

The stack does not match the list or the stack lid!

I had trouble with this review because the quality is good, but I must have gotten an anomaly. My stack was neither shimmery nor textured as stated in the product description. The stack I received actually had 48 sheets of good quality cardstock (about 100# index weight or 80# envelope) in dark colors - think fall foliage colors (e.g. forest green, burnt umber, burnt orange rust, aged brass). , dark chocolate, metallic gray, aubergine, etc.) or steampunk colors. The cover looked exactly like the listing photos, but the inside pages were completely different. The stack I received would be good for more vintage style scrapbooking than I did - I bought this stack to make very simple and modern spring greetings and greeting cards as well as thank you notes to keep on hand. Will not work. I'll keep it anyway as it's a good deal for the quality. Aside from a few boys' birthday cards, I probably won't touch them until next fall. I'm sorry I didn't post a photo of what I ended up with, but I don't want to take the stack apart just yet. We continue the search for shiny, dense cards in a feminine color. Beautiful papers that are quite thick & sturdy. They made lovely flowers.
