Review on 🎧 KZ ZS10 Wired Earphones - 5 Hybrid Drivers in-Ear HiFi Stereo Headphones, Red NO Mic – Noise Isolating Earbuds by Joey Gilbert

At first I wasn't impressed with the sound signature of these headphones. They appear to be veiled at higher frequencies compared to other KZ models with hybrid driver configurations. I have the colored and black versions of the KZ-ZST, ZS3 and ZS6 headphones and they all sound clearer and more detailed. I was hoping they would be more like the ZS6 but with a little more refinement. The ZS6 don't need EQ to make them sound good, but they do need some treble boost to sound appealing, and even then they just don't sparkle like the others. I'm just not impressed considering I paid more for them than anyone else. Update 8/14/2018: Well the seller (Kinboofi) sent me a pair of replacement ZS10s and I can definitely hear improvements. Now I hear details at high frequencies. They're still a little understated compared to other KZ products, but I'm really learning to love their more refined sound. I no longer feel the need to balance them. I can say that my personal preference for the sound profile is crisp, airy highs and they're pretty close to me. I understand the very positive feedback others have given about this IEM. I also recently bought the Fiio FH5 headphones and while they sound very good I think they have slightly less center protrusion which I think prefer.
