Edifier did an amazing job with these beauties. Connect it to my computer via the optical input and now I'm hearing something that wasn't there before. The bass is very strong and the mids and highs sound crystal clear. These are actually very powerful little speakers and few will want to crank up the volume on their desktop or laptop. I also use the Equalizer APO app which allows you to fine tune these speakers and increase the gain to add more volume and fullness. these already powerful speakers. The only current issue, and it has nothing to do with these or most other Bluetooth-enabled speakers, is an issue with the latest Microsoft Windows 10 April Update (1803) that caused problems with these and most Bluetooth-enabled speakers. They added a feature to Bluetooth that renders the Windows volume control inoperable. You can increase or decrease the volume using the Windows 10 volume slider and the volume doesn't change. I heard Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. This Microsoft bug does not affect the use of the optical or analog input in any way. Again worth every penny spent.
