Edifier did an amazing job with these beauties. Connect it to my computer via the optical input and now I'm hearing something that wasn't there before. The bass is very strong and the mids and highs sound crystal clear. These are actually very powerful little speakers and few will want to crank up the volume on their desktop or laptop. I ordered these to replace a pair of B&W mm-1 computer speakers that are no longer manufactured and will not work with Windows 10. Sound quality can be subjective, but this Edifier model clearly does not match the sound quality provided by B&W. I love these speakers. I'm alternating between using Bluetooth capabilities and optical input. Switching is smooth and easy. As soon as I connect via Bluetooth from my Macbook Pro, it switches to that input. The sound is really pleasant. Rich and fed.
