Upgrade; paint held; I had no comments other than implying that the clues were different colors. You remove the rasp completely; and almost made the hum disappear; It's similar in design to glass bag mufflers and I was hoping they wouldn't get any louder than a glass bag when water hits them. They've gotten a little louder, but the hum still seems quiet. Old rating; I ordered 2 tips, (black) 1 came in dark grey/charcoal, 1 came in black. Same device type, different spray color. It's pretty ridiculous that they're so far apart in color. I'll update my review when they've been installed for a week and after a month a lot of people complain that the paint is burning/peeling. That might help me as I can then color them properly. Update 1: The paint hasn't peeled off yet, after 4 hours of driving the drone had splintered off badly and the rasp is gone. (2016 Chrysler 200 3.6 v6 engine with Super 10 muffler) I'd say the drone hasn't been completely removed, but it's pretty tolerable now. If it was 9/10 before, I'd call the drone 3-2/10 now. It's there, but conversation and music are one thing now. I hear or feel the bass in my music again compared to the constant hum before the prompts. For $30 I would call it a fix. (Good luck to anyone trying to remove those fake tips from your car. 8mm bolts and some pliers to bend the safety stays to pry them out of any Chrysler/Dodge.) The DC Sport tip has 10 -mm bolt (3) with all three fully open, I couldn't put a tip on, unscrewed 1 bolt and it came up. All in all, at $15 for a tip that resonates about 3 1/2 inches, it's worth a try if you have a drone and a rasp. I would call this a beginner's tip, buy it to see if it works for you in theory. and then buy a proper nozzle for welding and no reviews of peeling paint or 2 nozzles in 2 colors.
