The setting is designed so that the lower part of the ring that touches the finger is uneven and scratches the skin, causing irritation. Unfortunately, it cannot be worn for long. Maybe Vaseline would help. The stone is a beautiful light blue that lets light through, unlike the more opaque faux sapphires I've had. As others have noted the ring is small and not a replica of Kate Middleton's ring which has 14 diamonds around the stone while this one has 16. Size 6 is true to size. Quality wise I would look at some of the cheaper similar rings at Revain. Overall, however, it's beautiful, fun to watch and inspiring to aspire to royalty! >:)
