This liner is more like durable but soft linen. It's definitely a cotton blend, but it's softer and has a sheen to it. Hardware is also heavy and not cheap. It's also nice to note that the front zip is a fully functional pocket! I thought it was just a show but no! I put my keys there for easy storage and easy access. I'm so glad I have this bag! It fits easily in my large checkbook wallet, 10-inch Kobo (Kindle), and Note 9, with plenty of room for a cosmetic bag and more. There are also two internal open pockets on one side and an internal zip pocket on the other. An additional pocket on the button outside but under the valve is also very spacious. That's where my Kindle goes. By far the best wallet I've bought in a long time. So glad I spent the money. If they have it in other colors I would definitely buy another one. If you have doubts about the purchase, do not hesitate, you will definitely like it! The only thing that bothers me is that the main compartment zipper opens too far. It doesn't matter much and some may prefer this path, but I would prefer the flash to stop about halfway where the current trace is now. Also, if you're looking for a bag with more structure that sits upright or keeps its shape, this isn't the bag for you. Otherwise definitely worth every penny spent!
