The ring light is great for taking photos or videos.
I often use this ring light for video and photography. It is very versatile and can grow from 3 to 5 feet tall. My iPhone fits right into the holder and has a rotating base that allows it to be moved to any angle. The included little clicker is great for stopping and starting videos and taking photos without having to move from your location or seat. The only downside is that even in the softest light it's still too bright, almost blinding. So I still have to try to find places with good natural light, which defeats the purpose of ring lights. It's more like a tripod for my iPhone.
