I bought it on Black Friday for a good price. The speed is not impressive. When I first used it I thought I plugged it into my USB 2.0 port because it runs at USB 2.0 speeds. When transferring large files, it works on USB 3.0 for the first 3-4 seconds and then switches to USB 2.0. It behaves like a USB 2.0 stick with a small buffer inside that runs at 3.0 speed and fills up quickly. If you're only transferring tiny files you might be impressed with the speed, otherwise buy this for the price and expect what you pay for.
