Bought for my wife who likes to be in control and has trouble staying still in bed. They stayed in place but would be difficult to don without compliance. The velcro works, but as soon as she put her hand to her mouth, she was able to take it off. Necessary in combination with additional restraints and a gag. She tried to hit me (briefly), but because of the padding it was useless. They're lighter and more breathable than the leather versions, but don't clog and are definitely easier to take off.
