Review on Dell ST2421L 24-Inch Wide-Screen Monitor with 1920x1080 Resolution and 60Hz Refresh Rate - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Daniel Murray

I've tried every possible way to get the audio input and output to work. But it doesn't seem to work. I'm starting to think this will only work with the single accessory they sell. Now I have no problem getting sound from the computer itself, but the display's audio jacks don't seem to be working. I have Bose Companion desktop speakers and I've tried connecting them to the audio in and out ports on the display but they don't work. I even tried just plugging regular headphones into the audio input. But it doesn't seem to work. I also tried playing with the menu settings on the display. Does anyone else have this problem? I really wish I had known this sooner because my reprieve is already up D;. If anyone finds a solution to make audio input and output work, please leave a comment and tell me how you solved the problem.
