I used it on a brand new pair of light pink suede shoes. It worked great. Then I thought what if my shoes were pre-made and it wasn't this product at all. The spray bottle has no smoke or odor. I was worried it was nothing but water. So I decided to find out. I used a piece of paper towel. Because I knew that if this thing wasn't real, the paper would absorb any liquid. I let it dry and the results were amazing. I used Kool-Aid, cooking oil, and coffee creamer on the towel for testing. It worked great. Now I really don't worry about my new shoes anymore. The very faint color left by the coffee was easily removed by light rubbing. I mean how hard can you rub a stain off a paper towel.
