Review on HIKPRO 002 Lightweight Backpack - Water Resistant Backpack for Enhanced Performance by Erik Haynes

We bought this backpack for a trip to a tropical climate. Since we mostly walked our day trips, we needed a smaller and lighter backpack. We also wanted separate compartments to make it easier to locate travel items. This backpack is just the ticket. We were able to bring 2 light rain ponchos, 2 water bottles in the 2 side mesh pockets, our travel maps, sunscreen, bug spray and an extra pair of sunglasses. We could fit other small items if we wanted, but we didn't want to add weight to the backpack. The husband said it was comfortable and easy to carry. Carrying a small backpack was much easier than carrying a heavy canvas with lots of straps and buckles. We packed what we needed for the day trip from the hotel. Another advantage of this smaller backpack was that we didn't bump into people with the backpack in crowded areas. We were pushed a lot by others trying to maneuver through the shops and crowded streets with huge backpacks. They often forget that with a large backpack on their back they need more room to turn back and forth. We felt that the backpack would only be more comfortable if it had a strap in the front to hold the shoulder straps in place. But the more straps, the more weight we naturally try to avoid. The backpack held up well on our week long trip and I would recommend it.
