I was disappointed with this item; I hung one on the back of my iPhone to keep an eye on around the house, but every time I slipped it into my pocket or purse, the device rotated just enough to pop out; It's too thick for phones, I don't think it's designed exactly for that, and the little prongs that are said to prevent it from rotating and opening for the battery don't. I pretty much skip the phone aspect, it doesn't work with the keys most of the time - the batteries don't die - I go to my car and use the remote with the door open to see if I hear/see missing keys, which I do don't. She just got up, held it next to her purse and pressed it - nothing. etc. That's a good idea. I wonder if another brand would work better?
