Bad for the bones. - Running

I thought these shoes would be great for ironing. They are shaped like a foot, with a wide tip at the toe of the shoe. Tapered shoes and the resulting displacement of the big toe are at the root of bursitis and its progression. So I thought great, they'll be painless. Well, they didn't press on my fingertip, which caused a chain reaction of pain in the bone. No, they went straight to bursitis instead. Now I have a very slight bump, it's almost invisible, it doesn't stick out at all, but there's an elastic band in the boot that presses the leg right onto the bump. It put so much pressure directly on the bump (which I've never experienced with any other shoe) that I couldn't even last five minutes in it. I tried a larger size, but even if the shoe was too big, the strap still pinched on the bursitis. So if you have mild, moderate, or severe bursitis, stay away. This design is murder.
