I have worn silk scarves for many years to keep my hair out of my face when I sleep and to relieve dryness. Tied as tightly as I could take, they always slip and slide and come off at night. After trying to make an old fashioned sleepyhead (haha) I found a sleepyhead. It's absolutely wonderful! Great fit. Not too tight and can be pulled up. Stretch enough to cover big heads, big hair and curlers. Doesn't move much and doesn't come loose. It's incredibly comfortable - there's no feeling like I'm going to bed with a hat on! My hair looks great in the morning when I take it off and the silk lining does what it's supposed to do - detangle the hair and lock in moisture. I don't wear them because I don't wear hats, but it's cute and can be.
