While I can understand the power supply, the suggestion that insufficient power can shorten the lifespan of the LEDs seems dead wrong. How can you burn out an LED if you don't have enough current to do it? It doesn't matter much. I'm not going to run wires all over the yard to power a bunch of LEDs. If it can't be done right with a single line, like the Christmas lights of yore, I buy better and older Christmas lights when they're blown. Also, the nail in the coffin for this brand informed me that they had the power T-connector wrong and with no documentation, told me I had connected it wrong and offered to SELL me the right one. As an electronics engineer with 25 years of experience, I would never put a red wire on top of a black wire and vice versa unless I wanted to start a fire, because that's how a fire is made. a spectacle to behold.
