Installation was very easy. My Pitbull puppy took about 15-20 minutes to get in and out and now she walks on her own every time. I'd suggest having someone inside and someone outside alternate valuable treats to get your pet through the door. This was so great for my pup as he no longer gets into accidents while waiting for someone to open the screen door. I've taken other people's advice and bought a variety of nuts and bolts at my local hardware store and I'd recommend it too. The door looks very nice and I was even asked if I bought a new screen door with a built in dog door. I would recommend this door to anyone looking for a beautiful door that is very easy to install. I would also recommend that you have a new razor blade when you cut the screen so it gets a nice clean cut.
