I bought this brush set as a gift for my artist wife, so I was concerned that they might be "cheap" or "not good enough" in some way, shape or form in her eyes. However, my wife really likes this brush set. The quality of the brushes is very good and there is nothing cheap about them. My wife said this set is just as good quality compared to other more expensive brush sets. The tote bag is pretty cool too. The leather case folds over your hands to protect them (which I thought was a pretty cool feature) and you close it by looping a string (which you can see in the picture) around the tab on the front of the case wrap. It looks and feels very "pretentious" (which is appropriate). You can also stand the case up and use it as a stand when you open it. Overall I was very happy with this purchase. It was the same with my wife.
