Compared to what else is available in this price range I would give it 5 stars but I would like more bass control. Just the on/off setting doesn't sufficiently account for different headphone types or mastering/sound quality across files, but it's as good or better than anything else in its price range. That said, the N2 does a great job of enriching the sonic presence of pretty much everything I listen to (PC - high-resolution, lossless downloads and streaming - Sonos, Echo Show 8, etc.). The downsides are with different headphones (Beats Pro, Sennheiser, OneOdio, etc.) and Hi-Fi IEMs (KZ, Blon, Revonext, etc.) that I use. Very stylish, extremely portable/versatile and just a joy to hold in my hands (although sometimes it's a bit too slippery for those of us with old fingers!) I bought TWO of these little boys for all the little musical toys that I seem to be hoarding in my retirement years Baby boomer issues...don't get me started!
